In my role as an eLearning Designer at the University of Hartford (UHart), my chief function is to develop and design material for all online programs. Prior to my arrival at UHart, most programs mostly utilized Blackboard Original or Canvas LMS. Leadership decided to begin rolling out Blackboard Ultra with my hire across the institution, and in my role I chiefly oversee the Ultra rollout. One of the first things I did once employed with UHart was create a template for all courses that utilize Blackboard Ultra based on QM standards. The template facilitates learning through a streamlined, easy to navigate process, while also providing consistency across the institution.
