Introducing WatchDates: The Ultimate Movie and TV Tracker for Mac & PC

Keeping track of exactly when the movies and TV shows you want to watch actually premiere is a logistical nightmare. Between theatrical rollouts, staggered streaming drops across multiple platforms, and network TV schedules, things slip through the cracks constantly.
That’s why I built WatchDates.
I vibe-coded this entire app from scratch alongside Claude, taking it from a raw design concept to a fully functioning desktop application. I wanted a clean, dedicated space to track entertainment schedules without all the clutter of typical tracking apps, and teaming up with AI allowed me to build exactly what I envisioned, fast.
While the project initially started just around cinema, it quickly became obvious during development that TV show premieres needed a home here, too. WatchDates handles both movie releases and TV show tracking seamlessly.
